In the 80s, with the arrival in the company of the fourth generation, the families take over 20 hectares of land in Val Trebbia with a high cultural and oenological value for Piacenza. Among the rolling hills of the valley comes Il Poggiarello: a new challenge for the cousins Ferrari and Perini, with the ambition to become ambassadors of the territory through viticulture of excellence.
After 40 years, Il Poggiarello is still a family business. The fifth generation has joined the parents to carry on the original project: to produce wines of the highest quality, able to best represent the Piacenza oenological tradition.
