Founded in 1980 on the initiative of the local Chamber of Commerce, the Piacenza Alimentare Consortium has assumed a fundamental role in the Piacenza economy, starting the process of internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises in the agri-food sector in Piacenza.
Thanks to a solid and constant growth, today Piacenza Alimentare has reached a further prestigious goal: it is in fact the Italy’s largest agri-food export consortium and includes a Ninety companies, known for seriousness and tradition but above all, for the goodness of their products, including some guaranteed by the appropriate Protection Consortia.
Promoting the export of local agri-food products is the primary objective with which the Piacenza Alimentare Consortium was born, starting from the consideration that when a product is really good, it already contains the basic premises for success.
