The Municipality of Ponte dell’Olio in Val Nure has been part of the Castelli del Ducato circuit since the end of January 2022 with the objectives of working in synergy between the public administration and the Castello di Riva, privately owned, promote and enhance the hiking trails of the hill, the mountain bike routes traced with GPS and downloadable cartography, the events and the typical village festivals, the territorial food and wine where stand out, among many delicacies, Pancetta D.O.P., Cooked salami, meats with mushrooms and the classic pisarei and fasö, washed down with fine white and red wines from vineyards and cellars that dot the valley.

From the territory of Ponte dell’Olio, moreover, begins what is now defined “the largest area dedicated to outdoor sports” which boasts 560 km of trails (to be covered on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike) traced in the territories of Ponte dell’Olio, Bettola, Farini and Ferriere where the Malaspina Castle of Gambaro, open to the public and with the possibility of overnight stay, another stronghold of the network www.castellidelducato.it.
