Carlotta Sarina, a young artist from Salsomaggiore Terme, fights for the planet to the rhythm of music with the project “Detonation” born after a flash mob at the European Parliament.

He puts his music at the service of the environmental cause. “I am a musician by passion and an activist by mission” says the young artist who in addition to the climate crisis cares about other issues including (she recently became vegan) and ethical fashion. In fact, he is an ambassador of “Clothest*”, the non-profit e-commerce platform of haute couture ‘ second-hand’ clothes and accessories . Sarina’s struggle for a better world passes, therefore, for what she does best: singing and playing the double bass. Sunday, October 16 will stop in Tuscany with a double appointment with his show “Detonation“: at 1 4.30 at the Chalet Fontana in Florence, as part of an event of ethical fashion and sustainability and at 18.30 at the oratory of the Lily of Montevarchi.

The project “Detonation” “It’s civil theater and music, to the story alternate pop songs, from Beyoncé to Lady Gaga passing through the Muses, but also ‘Bella Ciao’ and jazz improvisation. I’m starting to write music, I want to make my own album. The show includes three acts: the first ‘Lotta Traviata’, speaks of my experience. The second is ’52 seasons’: Vivaldi’s music helps me to tell how fashion has changed, before there were four seasons now a brand has even 52, to encourage people to buy superfluous things. This act was born following my collaboration with ‘Clothest *’, promoter of circular fashion, collects and sells used clothes of luxury brands to finance the assistance projects of the Caritas Family Home of Montevarchi. The third act, still unfinished, is ‘Home’ inspired by Greta Thunberg’s words about how impassive we are in the face of the fact that the world is on fire”.
