The Municipality of Ottone in collaboration with the Topomastica Femminile association, organizes an exhibition on the theme “Women: work and art”.The inauguration of the exhibition, set up in the wing of thecity council at the Town Hall, will take place on Wednesday 8 March at 10.00 am with the presence of the association’s representative, Venera Trimarco and with the students of the school.
The exhibition collects a rich repertoire of photos of road plates with titles to categories of workers and individual protagonists, images on the theme of women’s work and documents that aim to stimulate reflection on women’s commitment and witness the fatigue but also the successes achieved for equality.
The Municipality of Ottone this year is a supporting member of Topomastica Femminile, a national association that It was founded in 2012 with the aim of restoring visibility to women who have contributed, in all fields, to improving society, and has also joined the campaign “8marzo: 3 women, 3 streets”, which aims to name the next streets, green areas, age paths to female figures, activating a participatory comparison with citizens for the search for names.
