On the occasion of the Day of Remembrance, January 27, 2023, the Club for UNESCO of Carpineti, with the participation of the artist Simona Sentieri and the patronage of the municipality of Castelnovo ne’ Monti, offers citizens a small, but intense heritage walk along the alleys of Castelnovo vecchia and surroundings, in the early afternoon of Sunday 29 January. The idea is to keep together the red thread of the Stumbling Stones, which dot the path, with the History and the stories that have unfolded in those streets. To keep together, in short, the memory of the deportation and, as far as possible, that of the life from which these men were torn. Each Stone will be an opportunity for shared reflection: therefore the youngest are also invited, if they have worked on these issues at school.
