On the occasion of Pink October, a month linked to the prevention of breast cancer, Senonaltro launches the initiative “Prevention makes its way”, a journey in 6 stages to the hospitals that host the Breast Unit of our Province: Montecchio, Correggio, Reggio Emilia, Guastalla, Scandiano and Castelnuovo ne’ Monti. Every weekend in October there will be a non-competitive walk together with the volunteers of Senonaltro and the local running group in the direction of the Hospital, where doctors and health professionals will welcome participants to deepen a theme related to breast cancer: we will talk about prevention, treatment, reconstruction and coexistence with the disease.
The initiative “Prevention makes its way”, will kick off with the stage of Cavriago-Montecchio: Sunday, October 2 we talked about “Prevention and correct lifestyles” with Dr. V. Ginocchi, Dr. E. Rondini and Dr. S. Bodecchi, in collaboration with LILT Reggio Emilia.
At the CORE of Reggio Emilia on Sunday 16 October we talked about “Metastatic Tumor” with Dr. G. Bisagni and Dr. C. Iotti.
In Guastalla, Saturday, October 22 , the themes of “Fertility and Sexuality” will be explored with Dr. Villani and Dr. Gasparini.
In Scandiano Sunday, October 23 we will talk about “Reconstructive surgery and dermopigmentation” with Dr. F. Castagnetti and Dr. Guberti.
In Castelnovo Ne’ Monti Sunday, October 30 we will talk about “Surgery and care” with Dr. G. Bisagni, Dr. C. Iotti and Dr. G. Ferrari.
The paths will pass next to the Pink Benches, installed to remind us every day of the value of breast cancer prevention.
