Saturday 11 March, 4.00 pm in Castell’Arquato
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, which falls as usual every 8 March, this special guided tour through the enchanted streets and monuments of the village of Castell’Arquato will focus on the late medieval female universe.
We will investigate together the life of the women of the time, starting from the humblest figures up to some of the most powerful ladies of that period, such as Beatrice d’Este and Costanza Farnese, who had a strong influence in deciding the fate of Castell ‘Arquato.
At the end of the visit it will be possible to toast in the Enoteca Comunale with a sparkling glass of local bubbles!
Meeting point : IAT Tourist Office of Castell’Arquato (Palazzo del Podestà, Piazza Municipio).
Duration : about 80 minutes.
Cost of participation: € 12.00 (all included: guide service, entrance to the Rocca Viscontea, toast in the Enoteca).
