May 21 at the foot of Alpe di Succiso (in the municipality of Ventasso) the day organized by the Scientific Committee of the Cai of Castelnovo Monti and the National Park and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines Biosphere Reserve to discuss the strategic value of woods and forests for the maintenance of the slopes, but also for the multiple ecosystem aspects, generated and saleable, which are linked to the project ‘Sustainability credits’, promoted by the National Park and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines Biosphere Reserve.
It is the day organized by the Scientific Committee of the Cai Bismantova of Castelnovo Monti, implemented as part of the Festival of Sustainable Development, which will be held Sunday, May 21, from 9 am to 6 pm, in Succiso Nuovo, at the Valle dei Cavalieri Visitor Center.

Organizational notes
The indoor part takes place at the farmhouse of the Valle dei Cavalieri Community Cooperative (Via Caduti XXV Novembre, 46, Succiso Nuovo Ventasso Reggio Emilia). The hall has about 50 seats, admission is free and free. To reserve a seat, you must send the request for participation to caibismantova@alice.it.
The outdoor part is a walk of hiking difficulty E. It starts from the farm (q.986 m.) and arrives at the Bivouac Ghiaccioni (q.1393 m.) The route is about 4 km, half cart track and the other half hiking trail. The journey time is estimated at 1.30 hours, both outward and return.
Are required: hiking shoes or boots – fleece or sweater – appropriate trousers – anorak – cap, gloves – water bottle – something to eat in the backpack. Poles are recommended. Direction of the excursion: Scientific Committee of the CAI Bismantova Castelnovo ne’ Monti Section.
