Sunday, October 16 in Borgo val di Taro, at the Auditorium Mosconi at 5 pm, there will be a meeting entitled “Singular feminine: portraits of women who have made history”.
An afternoon with Sara Rattaro and the writers of the series dedicated to the great women of the past.
The title of the meeting is that of the series of novels of the publishing house Morellini Editore, which aims to propose a rich choice of fiction that educates to equality, pulling out of the past extraordinary women who have been partially told, women who deserve to be remembered not only for their profession but also from a human point of view.
The series is directed by the writer Sara Rattaro, winner of the Bancarella prize who also played the role of juror for the La Quara Prize in Borgotaro, which has in its intent to make gender culture through reading.
This series welcomes authors who belong to the world of Italian journalism, such as the three authors who will be guests of the meeting together with Sara Rattaro: Anna Di Cagno (who wrote the story of Éluard Dalí Gala), Antonella Grandicelli (with the story of Sylvia Plath) and Lucia Tilde Ingrosso, who will talk about the very important figure of the journalist Anna Politkovskaya.
To complete the meeting, the readings of Lucia Caponetto, a Genoese actress well known for audio reading and reading aloud.
The meeting is free, and is organized by the Manara Library with the Municipal Administration of Borgo Val di Taro within the project “Un Borgo di storie” with the contribution of the Cariparma Foundation.
