Keeping alive the most ancient traditions of a territory is an important goal, because it means safeguarding its identity and roots, as well as promoting it in its characteristics and excellence, giving benefits to the local commercial fabric and promoting aggregation and social cohesion.

The fair of San Martino di Noceto is undoubtedly one of the most heartfelt events in the country, which has its roots in the past and also for this reason is characterized by its strong connotation linked to the agricultural traditions of the territory.

The fair will take place on Sunday 13 November 2022 from 10 am in the historic center and is the result as usual of the collaboration between the Municipal Administration of Noceto and the most representative institutions in the world of agriculture and local volunteering.

Also this year the program is particularly rich and characterized by a strong synergy between local realities – voluntary associations, those promoting the territory, the Parish and commercial operators – and includes numerous initiatives and attractions of great interest: the Village of livestock biodiversity, the Mercato di Campagna Amica, the exhibition of innovative agricultural machinery, the show cooking of a wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano, the laboratories of the art of butchery and honey extraction, environmental themed educational stands for children, the food stand with products that bear the De.C.O. – Nocetani doc, gnocchi and fried salami – hobbyists and extraordinary market, roasted chestnuts and mulled wine, charity fishing.

You can visit the prestigious museums hosted by the municipal territory of Nocetano, the Museum of Violin Making and Disc at the Castle of Music and the Archaeological Museum – where the Bronze Age terramare is located with all the finds found in it, unique at European level – and that of the Typography, welcomed by the multifunctional structure of via Silone. In particular, guided tours are planned at the Museums and at 3.30 pm workshops for children aged 6 to 11 years at the Archaeological Museum with reservations required 340/1939057

The organization of the fair, which traditionally arises under the aegis of the Municipal Administration, provides for the synergistic collaboration between the Municipality and the most important associations operating in the agricultural world, the Consorzio Agrario Parma – the historic body founded in 1893 engaged in the support and development of entrepreneurship operating in the field of local agriculture – Coldiretti Parma, the Regional Association of Breeders Emilia Romagna, Campagna Amica, with the support of the company Emilcap, born from the synergy between the Agricultural Consortium of Parma, that of Emilia and the Terrepadane, the Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium and the Consorzio Bonifica Parmense. The collaboration with local volunteering realities is also important and effective.
