Culture marries charity in the Reggio Apennines

Sunday, October 23 at 16.00 at the Laudato Si’ center in Castelnovo ne’ Monti (RE) Chiara Guidarini and Roberta Dieci will present their books by donating a part of the proceeds to the initiative promoted by the historical group il Melograno which aims to offer students of the first classes of primary school the opportunity to know the territory through direct and concrete experiences, in order to raise awareness of environmental and sustainability issues.

The Laudato Si’ center is located at the foot of the Bismantova stone, inside the recently restored Hermitage. Praised by Dante in Purgatory, the stone of Bismantova is one of the territorial excellences of which it proposes the enhancement and educational laboratory for schools.

Roberta Dieci is a professor of Greek and Latin, she has participated in several literary awards and won some of them such as the Buk Festival and Navarro, she is the author of several publications including fantasy books and popular essays. She recently introduced Baschi moderated by historical researcher Rachele Pierini. The author will talk about her publications in particular about her latest book “Il bene fragile” (Reverdito Editore).

Chiara Guidarini is the author of numerous publications including novels and essays, moderator and event organizer. His historical book “Viterbium – ti ascolto” written with Catia Santoni was presented at the Papal Palace in Viterbo last July while “Melocium – letters from the past” was presented in Ferrara in September. He will talk about his publications in particular about his latest book “Il respiro del vento – l’inganno” (Linee Infinite Edizioni).
