The healthcare facility is celebrating its tenth birthday and is promoting “12 months of prevention”: free Pap-tests and pelvic floor assessments in March.
The structure, easily reachable from Parma, at the entrance to Collecchio, equipped with ample free parking, has undergone a recent internal restructuring aimed at creating increasingly spacious and adequate environments.
To celebrate the tenth anniversary, the medical director, Claudio Reverberi, launched the“12 months of prevention” initiative which provides for the free provision of health services, upon reservation and subject to availability useful for preventing the onset, spread and progression of diseases. Each month of 2023 will be dedicated to a type of service that will concern the different medical disciplines. Cardiology, gynecology, nutrition, endocrinology, gastroenterology, physiotherapy, diabetology, and laboratory tests will be involved, all with the aim of raising awareness and contributing to health prevention.
After the first months of the year dedicated to hypertension and hypercholesterolemia, the month of March 2023 will be dedicated to “Women’s Health” with the possibility of performing a free Pap-test and pelvic floor evaluation . In the female sphere, early diagnosis is a fundamental tool to reduce the risk of developing specific pathologies. Even in the absence of symptoms or problems, every woman should have regular visits and check-ups. It is for this reason that PacC is committed to supporting everyone’s well-being through its prevention services .
