Friday 14 and Saturday 15 October, games and demonstrations to learn how to protect yourself.
Objectives of the event, to inform and train citizens of all ages, illustrating the behaviors to avoid endangering themselves and others, as required by the plans of the five municipalities of the Union: Collecchio, Felino, Montechiarugolo, Sala Baganza and Traversetolo, available on the website www.unionepedemontana.it in the section dedicated to Security and Civil Protection.
The reception camp, set up in via Du Tillot (Area next to the Conad shopping center) at 8.15 am on Friday 14 will open to the classes of the primary school of Felino.
Starting from 2 pm the camp will open to all citizens and children up to 8 years of age can have fun with a path on board a firefighting vehicle that will lead them to extinguish a controlled flame. There will also be emergency psychologists, who will talk about the emotions that are unleashed in the event of a disaster, and at 4 pm the search for a missing person will be simulated with the use of drones and maps.
The camp will close at 6 pm and will reopen on Saturday morning for middle school students, who will repeat the Friday morning route.
In the afternoon, starting at 2 pm, it will be open to the population again until 5 pm. Starting from 2.30 pm there will be a cartography test, for volunteers and for citizens who have knowledge of orienteering and a means to move around the Felinese territory.
The following voluntary associations will participate in the exercise: Prociv Arci “Il Falco” Group, Sipem Sos – Italian Society of Emergency Psychology, N.I.P. – Nuovo Intergruppo Parma, Civil Protection Group Arci “Bruno Mambriani” of Collecchio, Voluntary Ecological Guards (GEV), Voluntary Assistance of Collecchio – Sala Baganza – Felino, UNUCI – National Union of Officers on Leave of Italy, ANA Group – National Alpine Association and Public Assistance Blue Cross of Traversetolo.
