A gift that tastes of the future. The municipal library of Gropparello, named after Bruno Cassinari, is enriched with a space dedicated to children with the aim of welcoming young readers and bringing them closer to the world of reading. The space was created thanks to the donation of Angela Boiardi, a retired professor linked to the capital of Val Vezzeno where she was born and raised before moving at the age of twenty without ever forgetting the places of her childhood.
The nine volunteers of the library, have made themselves available for a further opening: one Saturday morning a month, until May, from 10.00 to 11.30, is added to the normal opening hours of Saturday afternoon, from 15.00 to 17.00. The new space will be officially inaugurated on Saturday 25 February, at 11.00 am with the laying of the plaque in memory of Alberta and Bruno Boiardi. “We invite everyone to participate – underlines Piera Marchioni – the library is there and is available to anyone who feels the need”. In addition to the classic openings, in the library continue the evening meetings dedicated to world travel and those with authors of books and stories.
