How is a legend born? How do the 16 million liters of milk produced annually from the milking of 1400 cows give rise to a unique cheese that ages on warehouses dominated by the typical yellow color, going on to compose monumental, enveloping walls of taste? What is the difference between the 18-, 24-, 36-, 48- and even 80-month variants?
These and other questions will be answered on Saturday, April 15 and Sunday, April 16, 2023, when Parma2064 (Fidenza, PR) will also participate in CASEIFICI APERTI, an event promoted by the Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium that allows the public to learn the secrets of Parmigiano Reggiano DOPjbh vj
And the unmissable opening of the forms, which will take place during the 9:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. guided tour.
The grand finale will be entrusted to the tasting. The free visit to the dairy in Fidenza (PR), next to Fidenza Village, will take place in six shifts: 8:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. – 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
