For 35 years the Vigolo cake has undoubtedly been one of the most appreciated desserts in the area; takes its name from a small village, precisely Vigolo Marchese, in the municipality of Castell’Arquato.
The recipe for this special chocolate cake, which includes simple and genuine ingredients, is kept secret by Pasticceria Perazzi and has also been registered, but has required years of experiments and improvements.
What is surprising is the play of contrasts: a crumbly pastry, the slightly soft filling and a crust on the surface.
