This morning, January 9, the “Protocol for the promotion of the Archaeological Museums of Piacenza” was signed. The museums involved have signed the commitment to set up a permanent working table and to collaborate with each other to plan and implement future activities in a coordinated manner. On this occasion, to sign the document, were the Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Piacenza, Christian Fiazza and the mayors of the Municipalities of Travo and Pianello Val Tidone, Ludovico Albasi and Gianpaolo Fornasari. Also present were Antonella Gigli, director of the Civic Museums of Palazzo Farnese, Gloria Bolzoni director of the Archaeological Museum of Valtidone and Francesco Garbasi of the Archaeological Museum of Travo. The document will also be signed by the Superintendent for Archaeological Heritage, Fine Arts and Landscape of the Provinces of Parma and Piacenza, Maria Luisa Laddago (for the Archaeological Park of Travo) and by Olimpia Barbieri, director of the Polo museale per l’Emilia Romagna of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (for the archaeological area of Veleia Romana).
