In these days those who will pass in front of the town hall of Noceto will find themselves in front of a row of benches with different colors, where each chromatic shade corresponds to diseases and current problems, an initiative wanted by the Municipal Administration of Noceto for a strong awareness on these issues.
“This initiative” explains the mayor Fabio Fecci “It wants to concretize a strong message of attention, the color painted on each bench testifies to one or more pathologies related to it, convinced of the need for collective awareness on the issues, because darkness cannot fall on these issues. With these benches, which in the coming days we will place permanently in the Baden Powell park, we wanted to structure a strong message on our territory to keep attention high, making a strong appeal to the bodies above us to invest as much as possible in medical scientific research and in concrete support to people affected by diseases, even in reference to rare ones. Our benches will therefore become an integral part of the furnishing of a particularly popular park, the one named after Baden Powell, founder of scouting whose centenary will occur in 2024, recently the subject of a redevelopment intervention, where the monument dedicated to Pope John Paul II is also located, a figure that has risen to a universal symbol of peace and charity. A QR-code will then be placed on each bench that will allow you to download information on the themes”.
