The “Montagna Solidale” project, launched by the Foundation of Piacenza and Vigevano with the Unions of Municipalities to support the elderly over, expands and also arrives in Ponte dell’Olio with the establishment of the figure of the “Supportive Custodian”, operators who, as per the project, will have to create links with the realities of the community to promote socialization, accompaniment and support to the elderly in their daily lives or intercept more delicate situations. In Ponte dell’Olio, the solidarity custodian will be alongside the administration to strengthen the social and health transport services in favor of the Pontolian people over the age of 74, and is implemented under an agreement stipulated between the Alta Valnure Union (the body to which the Social Service is conferred) and the Valnure Public Assistance.
