On Sunday, June 14, 2026 , “Walking with music” returns to Bardi, an in-depth festival dedicated to popular music.

The event will be dedicated to “Kurdish music and its evolution: from popular tradition to new developments”, a meeting to learn more about sounds, history and transformations of a rich and fascinating musical tradition.

The speaker of the initiative will be Ashti Abdo, a Kurdish musician from Rojava, with the technical contribution of the musician Nicola Rulli. At the end of the presentation, the speaker will perform some pieces from the Kurdish repertoire.

The meeting will be held at the Casa della Gioventù in Bardi, at 4.30 pm.
