The Municipality of Varsi invites citizens to participate in the celebrations for the 81st Anniversary of Liberation Day, scheduled for Saturday 25 April 2026, a day of remembrance and sharing dedicated to the values of freedom and democracy.
The program will start at 9:45 am with the meeting at the square of the Town Hall, in the presence of the municipal banner and the weapon associations. This will be followed, at 10:15 am, by the raising of the flag and the performance of the national anthem at the Monument of the Alpini.
At 10:30 a.m . the Holy Mass will be celebrated in suffrage of the fallen and missing of all wars, with the blessing of laurel wreaths. The morning will continue with the official commemoration speeches and will end with the lowering of the flag and the laying of a floral bouquet at the war memorial in Pietrarada.
A heartfelt and participated event, which renews the memory and civil commitment of the community. Citizens are invited to participate and display the Tricolor.
