Free cooking workshop for families

Sunday 27 September 2026 from 15:30 to 18:30 On the occasion of the International Day of Awareness on Food Loss and Waste we will have fun preparing a typical recipe adapting it to today’s environmental problems.

With the help of chef Caterina, children and parents will knead and give this particular shape to tortelli following the culinary tradition of Piacenza, that is, with a spinach filling, thus creating a true work of art. Good to eat and beautiful to look at.

But how can we turn tortelli into an anti-waste dish? Let’s find out together how many different fillings we can make to make the most of the products we have in the refrigerator. Let’s unleash our imagination to create new family recipes to avoid throwing away food!

To end the workshop, we just have to taste our delicacies.

The activity is free and dedicated to children aged 7 to 12 years accompanied. Maximum 25 people. It is recommended to bring an apron.

The appointment is Sunday 27 September 2026 from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm at Agrilab alla Corte di Giarola in Strada Giarola, 11 in Collecchio (PR) in the Taro Park.

Info and reservations required at 0521/802688 – Whatsapp 338/7918250 or by email by writing to info@parchiemiliaoccidentale.it (Monday to Friday)
