Friday, October 28 at 9 pm, at the Teatro Bismantova is scheduled the screening of the documentary “One Day One Day”, as part of an evening organized among the activities of the Youth Mountain Project. The project was born from the request of a group of university students residing in the mountains, with the aim of bringing and disseminating cultural and educational actions in the area.
One Day One Day follows for a year the life of agricultural laborers who live in the slum of Borgo Mezzanone, the largest in Italy. In Italy, over 500,000 immigrants live without documents and in extremely precarious conditions. Many of them seek refuge and work in the countryside of our country where they are used to collect the food we buy daily in supermarkets.
One Day One Day shows the lives of these people from inside the ghettos and slums scattered in northern Puglia, the only places willing to welcome them.
The screening will be free admission. For information tel. 327 1184484.
