On Sunday 24 May, the ‘Claudio Cesari’ Centre inside the F. Nevicati Park in Collecchio will host a particularly intense literary event.
Starting at 6.30 pm, the public will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the dark and magnetic atmospheres of “The silence that remains”, the latest mystery novel by Giuliano Pasini published by Piemme.
The meeting will not follow the canons of the traditional presentation, but will adopt the innovative formula of the Silent Book Party, structuring the experience in two distinct and complementary moments: the first hour will be dedicated to the silent and individual reading of the text, allowing each participant to get in deep contact with the narration, while the second hour will give space to a dynamic chat with the author.
Giuliano Pasini, now recognized as a master of the genre, returns to bookstores with a work defined as an authentic ‘page-turner’, capable of combining the rigor of the detective plot with a profound psychological investigation.
At the center of the story we find Elena Dal Pozzo, a talented journalist whose life was devastated by the disappearance of her son Mattia, which took place almost a year earlier.
Between hypnotherapy sessions, the emotional anesthesia sought in the notes of Pink Floyd and a pain that seems inextinguishable, Elena is suddenly dragged back into the abyss when, on the exact anniversary of Mattia’s disappearance and in the same place, the disappearance of another child is announced.
