On the occasion of the recurrence of March 8 we tell you the story of Mary, a fossil hunter of the early th century.
A special thematic laboratory, dedicated to children and teenagers to celebrate one of the women of science who shocked the world of paleontology in an era in which women could not approach scientific studies.
“At the beginning of the nineteenth century in England there lived a little girl with a great passion: the one for fossils. She did not yet know that she would make incredible discoveries and that she would contribute to the development of paleontology. That little girl was called Mary Anning, the fossil hunter. “
Children participate without the presence of their parents.
The duration of the laboratory is about 1 hour and a half and is dedicated to children aged 6 to 12.
Cost: €10 per participant, €6 for brothers/sisters
The initiative takes place on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 March 2023 at 4.30 pm .
