To fully enjoy it, we will leave at the time when we usually return: from Lake Ballano we will climb with a wide beech forest path, crossing the basin that encloses Lake Verde, to be surprised by the last light of day.

After the packed dinner we can lie down on the towels and, away from any source of light pollution, scan the sky to learn about the observable constellations, keeping some wishes in our pockets ready to be expressed.

The return to Lake Ballano will take place by the light of headlamps, enveloped in the silent embrace of the forest and the calls of nocturnal animals.

Meeting point: Sunday 09 August 2026 at 5.00 p.m. at the parking lot of Lake Ballano, in the municipality of Monchio delle Corti (PR). Return scheduled at 11.00 pm.

Required equipment: hiking boots (no flat shoes/sneakers), charged and working headlamp, backpack, water (at least 1.5 l per person), hiking clothing, waterproof cape or jacket, headgear, fleece and/or windproof jacket, individual towel, insect repellent, packed dinner by the participants. Trekking poles and an extra garment for the evening are recommended.
