Historic event for the Reggio Emilia mountains, but not only…
The streets and squares of the town will be filled for 3 days with dozens of stands of all kinds.
Food stands and typical products.
Agricultural vehicles and livestock area in Via dei Partigiani.
Program:
The traditional cattle market exhibition will be set up at the Fair Center, together with the exhibition of agricultural, industrial and livestock equipment. In Piazza Gramsci there will be space for production and commercial activities, agri-food exhibitors and the stands of the Twinning Committees, with tastings and sale of food and wine products.
Among the initiatives dedicated to solidarity and local productions there will also be the Festival of bread and products of the Reggio Emilia Apennines, promoted by CNA with charitable purposes and organized by the Public Assistance Green Cross of Castelnovo ne’ Monti and Vetto. The traditional “giant mortadella” that had been absent for some years will also return: it was an element of strong appeal in Via Roma and now it will be right in the Piazza del Direzionale. There will also be a guided tasting dedicated to the different types of bread and their characteristics.
Space will also be given to the knowledge of the territory and the historical and archaeological heritage, with the information activities of the Campo Pianelli Archaeological Park and the archeotrekking to the Pietra di Bismantova, organized by ArcheoVea. Among the proposals is scheduled for Sunday 27 an excursion to the Tower of Monte Castello, to discover the history of the ancient settlement and admire the Apennine landscape.
There will be no shortage of initiatives dedicated to families and children, with the games of the past of Giochinpiazza, the puppet shows of the Teatrino di Puck and the amusement park.
The proposals accompanying the event also include the Digitale Facile information point, promoted by the Unione Montana dell’Appennino reggiano and the Emilia-Romagna Region, and the stand dedicated to the TENHUB Appennino project, the network that connects ten municipalities, communities, places, skills and digital connections with a series of meeting points dedicated in particular to young people.
