The Castle of Varano, illuminated by the moon’s rays, stands imposing and threatening like a giant stone building, ready to open its gates to the guests of the exclusive masked evening, organized to celebrate Halloween night. Suddenly a chilling scream echoes through the ancient halls of the fortress: someone – or something – has brutally killed Lord Blackstone, the owner of the manor, but when the Scotland Yard police arrive at the scene of the crime, a series of disturbing details gradually begin to emerge … What connection is there between the unfortunate victim and the occult rituals that were celebrated in the basement of the castle? To whom, or what, does the demonic name “Baal” refer and what relationship did Lord Blackstone have to the four mysterious guests who were present in the castle at the time of his death?
