THE MORNING PROGRAM: THE CONSTITUTION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
10.45 a.m. – Church of S. Michele, Via Berenini
Meeting of eighteen-year-old young people, Weapon Associations, Combatants and Volunteers.
Reading of passages from the Italian Constitution.
To follow: Formation of the procession preceded by the “City of Fidenza” Band. Stop at the Church of S. Maria Annunziata for the reading of passages from the Constitution.
11.30 a.m. – Piazza Garibaldi Reception by the Municipal Authorities and ceremony of delivery of the text of the Italian Constitution to eighteen-year-old citizens.
AFTERNOON: BORN WITH THE VOTE. THE GIRLS OF 1946
80 years of the Republic and the first exercise of the right to vote by Italian women. A civil moment to strengthen the bond between generations and the values of democracy.
6.00 p.m. – Courtyard of the Town Hall Reception to the “Custodians of Memory” Greetings from the Municipal Authorities.
Symbolic ceremony of delivery of the Constitution and the celebratory parchment. Musical accompaniment greeting
