On November 20, 2022 at the village Mulino del Lentino the Festa dei Mugnai is celebrated.
Exhibition and sale of themed products of the event, such as biscuits, pasta and other products made with ancient grains and the possibility of buying corn flour always of ancient grains.
The volunteers of the association “La Strada dei Mulini” will prepare chickpea soup, polenta combined with cheese or ganassino, in addition to bataro’, produced by De.C.O. of the municipality Alta Val Tidone.
Presence of lavender and saffron exhibitors from Val Tidone.
There will be artisans from the area who will make demonstrations of making baskets with willows, woodworking with lathe, ancient processing of iron and steel.
Possibility to visit the old water mill through free guided tours and grain processing through “small mills”.
The association “Val Tidone Lentamente” www.sentierodeltidone.eu proposes for the occasion the excursion “Il Mugnaio di Geoffrey Chaucer ” starting from Borgo Mulino Lentino, combined with the “Festa dei Mugnai”.
The excursion includes the meeting in Borgo Mulino Lentino of Alta Val Tidone at 9:00 am and departure at 9:15 am and a ring route of about 10 kilometers of hiking type, recommended from 12 years old and which strictly requires trekking shoes with sculpted soles and poles. Upon return, scheduled for lunch or in the early afternoon, possibility to participate in all the initiatives of the “Festa dei Mugnai”.
Participation fee € 12 (€ 10 members of the Sentiero del Tidone).
