The mediating role of women: in the family, at work, in society.
This is the theme at the center of the conference entitled ‘Mediation is a woman: legacy and future’, organized by CNA Impresa Donna Parma with the patronage of the Municipality of Collecchio scheduled for Saturday 15 November from 10.30 am inside the ‘Villa Soragna’ Cultural Center in Collecchio.
A round table to reflect on the role of mediation that, historically and anthropologically, has always been linked to female figures, with an eye to the near future and the new generations.
– A role that is often underestimated or not adequately recognized – underlines Giulia Ghiretti, head of CNA Impresa Donna – but which is expressed in various contexts: economic, social, cultural, legal, professional – .
– Female figures – adds the Councilor for Equal Opportunities of the Municipality of Collecchio Anna Gherardi – they are central to integration processes, to the creation of new ties with the territories of arrival and, at the same time, to the maintenance of relations with the culture and family of origin. A decidedly underestimated key role that actually leads to interesting forms of personal and design autonomy, initiatives and art. –
After the institutional greetings of Councillor Gherardi and Francesca Bocchia, president of CNA Impresa Donna, the program includes speeches by Chiara Pedretti, interpreter and translator who will talk about linguistic and cultural mediation, Sandra Rossi, psychologist and psychotherapist, who will address the theme of mediation between life and work, Raffaella Oliva, lawyer who will deal with the legislator as a mediator between equity, work and recognition and Silvia Cunegondi, entrepreneur, who will bring her direct experience of mediation in the management of a male-dominated company.
The meeting will be moderated by Alvaro Gafaro, president of the association ‘Males who meddle’ and expert in mediation.
At the end of the meeting, the inauguration of the exhibition ‘Visione Donna’ will take place, the collective of the artists Elisa Olari, Valentina Costa, Giovanna Benardi.
The exhibition will remain open to visitors with free admission until Saturday 29 November.
