The month of December is in the common imagination the one that brings with it a unique atmosphere, imbued with magic and warmth.
December is the month of dreams and imagination, especially for the little ones.
Even the Castle of Bardi for the occasion seems surrounded by a new charm to be discovered: the visit to the Fortress and its museum sections, a tangible sign of a thousand-year history, is enriched by a special section dedicated to Christmas. Throughout the month of December, during the extraordinary openings, the suggestive Taverna dei Soldati is transformed into Santa’s House, with many lights and decorations.
A special space is dedicated to the little ones who can pack their own letter with care and love and post it directly to Lapland!
For the fun of the whole family, the Princely Halls are transformed into the “Castle of Games”: an irresistible path between ancient wooden games, challenges of skill, tests of ingenuity and puzzles with historical charm, which take you back in time.
For those who love markets and gifts made with the heart, on December 8th, the arrival at the Castle will be embellished with stands of local artisans and producers, along the historic Via Maestra, Via Pietro Cella.
And we will also help you in your rush for gifts: for the last Christmas gifts, the Salone dei Principi will host the Christmas markets on December 21st.
