On the occasion of the PINK OCTOBER, Tuesday 25 October 2022 the municipal administration of Langhirano with the contribution of VALPARMA HOSPITAL and the collaboration of the AUSL of Parma, takes the opportunity to raise awareness among citizens on the theme of PREVENTION for the fight against BREAST CANCER, a topic of great importance especially among the female population of all ages. On this occasion at 18:30 the BENCH OF HEALTH will be inaugurated, at the Via XX Settembre Park in Langhirano, symbol of the commitment of the 2030 Agenda, a global action program for people, development and the planet itself, of which ensuring the health and well-being of all and all ages is a fundamental goal.

At 18:45 will follow the greetings and interventions of important health professionals who will deal with the theme of PREVENTION of breast cancer, how essential it is and why undergoing and adhering regularly to examinations and screening visits, can improve the quality of life and save many people.

Every year thousands of cases of neoplastic diseases are discovered in the initial phase thanks to PREVENTION and screening, thus being able to subject patients to timely and in many cases, life-saving treatment. Finally, at 19:00 VALPARMA HOSPITAL will kindly offer a “pink” aperitif as the final phase of the event. We invite all citizens to intervene in this significant evening.
