Saturday 4 July, at 10 am, at the Luigi Musini Museum of the Risorgimento in Fidenza
Happy birthday Giuseppe!
On July 4, 1807, Giuseppe Garibaldi was born in Nice, one of the protagonists of the Risorgimento and one of the most famous historical figures of his time. The museum remembers him with a guided tour for adults and families of the Musini museum collections, starting with the album of the thousand that immortalizes the famous expedition of 1860, up to the memorabilia of Eugenio Pescina, Luigi Musini and many other people from Fidentini who participated in its campaigns. The visit will continue in Piazza Garibaldi to observe the obelisk, which portrays him and which, thanks to Luigi Musini, was the first monument in Italy to be erected in his memory.
