Borgofood and the Gran Fiera di Borgo San Donnino have arrived and this year will offer the longest edition ever, from 3 to 13 October.
450 great food and artisan stories, icons of the great food that has made Made in Parma unique in the world, 200 food and wine productions.
Over 100 events including meetings with great guests, music, the story of the producers and shows for the whole family.

THE THEME OF THIS EDITION:
“SUSTAINABILITY BETWEEN FOOD, TOOLS AND RECIPES”

This year the main theme will be “Sustainability between Food, Tools and Recipes”, which is why the heart of the city will host a series of initiatives related to quality food and wine of Emilia-Romagna and the whole of Italy, but also to the themes of “Slow” and “Green Life” mobility, sustainability and travel along the Via Francigena of which Fidenza, since its foundation, it houses the headquarters of the European Association. Tasting events, street food, stories of recipes, stories of producers and companies will be organized, and what else can remember local traditions and ancient knowledge, but not only; this year there will be greater attention and in-depth analysis, with events and exhibitions, on the theme of eco-sustainability, reuse and recycling with a series of initiatives concentrated at the Ursuline Court renamed for the occasion “Court of Sustainability”.

MANY PARTNERS FOR A GREAT EVENT
Also this year the event avails itself of important patronages such as: Emilia Romagna Region, Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium, Culatello di Zibello Consortium, European Association of Via Francigena Ways, Parma Unesco City of Gastronomy, AIS, BioHabitat Foundation, Artusi Foundation.

IN FIDENZA EVERY STREET IS THEMED
The spaces where companies and consortia will be located will be distributed in the areas of the historic center with the greatest turnout of the public. The subdivision includes: in Piazza Garibaldi “The real Emilia is here”, with the consortia and producers of excellence of the region, the roads of wines and flavors, but also the products of De.Co excellence. Italian municipalities and Slow Food presidia; in Via Cavour, the street of “Good Drinking” with wines and craft beers alternating with selected street food products; in Piazza Verdi the territories of the Via Francigena and their producers; in via Berenini the “Strada delle api” and in via Malpeli the way of sustainable mobility.
