On Friday, March 13, 2026, the Pallavicino Castle in Varano de’ Melegari hosts a special evening dedicated to the mysteries and legends related to its long history. With the event “Ghosts, History and Legends of the Castle of Varano” visitors will be able to participate in an evocative evening guided tour, to discover the most fascinating stories and events that have animated the fortress over time.

During the guided tour you will cross rooms, corridors and ancient rooms of the castle, listening to stories, curiosities and legends handed down over the centuries. The atmosphere of the evening, often illuminated by candlelight and under the starry sky, will make the experience even more engaging, allowing you to experience the castle in an unusual and evocative dimension.

The manor of Varano de’ Melegari, built in a strategic position on the Ceno valley, has been over the centuries the scene of historical events, power events and popular tales that still feed the charm and mystery of the fortress today. This evening visit therefore offers the opportunity to discover the castle from a different perspective, between history, traditions and legendary tales.
