Try to imagine two stage attendants, playing with the objects and instruments left by the striking musicians, belonging to an orchestra that was supposed to perform a classical music concert. Like children at their first discovery, they invent situations on the edge of madness, becoming themselves musicians, illusionists, entertainers and magicians, exploiting their art, the one that Totò taught them: the art of getting by. And it will be just like that because they will be able to entertain and involve the audience waiting for an unlikely real orchestra.

“Opera Clown” is the new production of Manicomics Teatro, interpreted by two actors. The clownish language, always poised between reality and fantasy, alternates moments of naïve lucidity with moments of ordinary madness. Thanks to its strong comic charge and the many clownish situations, “Opera Clown” is able to excite and involve a heterogeneous audience, suitable for all ages. The show is linked to the theme of music and aims to bring young people closer to the world of theater, to the knowledge of opera and great composers, through fun and the game of theater.
