Two characters wrapped in a timeless scene meet in a dizzying journey into a vortex, a ritual to discover what is inside each of them in the midst of chaos.
They play gravity by facing flight as a favorite pastime, spin in the air like unbridled tops, let themselves be carried away by the inertia of movement and unexpected surprises, explore and savor the great mystery of taking their feet off the floor.
Fragility remains suspended in sight and in the eyes of all to offer an unforgettable journey into a mysterious and minimal choreographic universe.

CIA DEPASO COMPANY
Clara and Jose’s paths cross in Buenos Aires in 2017 where they train in aerial disciplines. He is Chilean, she is Italian, both are passing through (in Spanish “de paso”) in the Argentine capital. Sharing the desire to start an independent creation project, they give life to their show La Trottola which since 2018 has been touring some of the most important circus and street art festivals in Europe. They seek a sensitive poetics of movement in the air, an investigation of human relationships through the circus scene.

“PAPAGHENO AND PAPAGHENA. MOZART’S PARROTS»
COMPAGNIA TRIOCHE – MUSICAL CLOWN
with Compagnia Trioche: Nicanor Cancellieri, Irene Geninatti Chiolero, Franca Pampaloni – dramaturgy and direction Rita Pelusio – production PEM Habitat Teatrali
It is the new show of the Trioche Company that, after the success of the previous shows, now wants to propose a particular musical clown work. The title of the show refers to the famous aria of Mozart’s opera “The Magic Flute”. Mozart composed this colorful work two months before his death, never was a spiritual testament more joyful.
Who inspired Mozart while composing? Are his parrots imitating him or did he take inspiration from their sounds? In this continuous reversal of perspective, as The Magic Flute proposes in its plot, we borrowed the different musical registers to reinterpret them. The Trioche propose the arias of The Magic Flute playing with opera, bel canto and the noble comic art. Parrots are Comic, tragic, ungainly and poetic, like any animal kept in a cage they dream of freedom, and if they cannot take flight, their music will.
“As to how right it is to appropriate opera to play, we leave it to the critics to decide. We think that opera should obey its time, but also deploy its magic if it allows it to be brought closer to everyone.”

The Trioche company has enjoyed over the years mixing classical music with rock, popular music with opera, and has done so through the clown, using all the irreverence and emotion it can arouse. A clown who navigates between genres, opposites, diversities, and who reaches the heart of the listener with a simple message, a thought, a smile, which amplifies our way of making music, of living it and sharing it with the public
