The Scientific Committee, born later as an “emanation” of the Table of Byzantium, is composed of scholars and enthusiasts of the territory, motivated to give visibility to the historical and cultural heritage of the Tresinaro Valley (Baiso-Viano-Carpineti) crossed from the sixth to the eighth century by the Byzantines.
To this end, the Committee organizes exhibitions, coordinates various artistic activities and historical insights, ensuring a rigorous and informative approach to events, enriching the “flavors” of the tried and tested summer re-enactment with “knowledge”, studies and research. Since 2025, the Committee has obtained the management of Ca’ Toschi, the birthplace of Giovan Battista Toschi, an illustrious man of culture and art scholar. Numerous initiatives are planned to make this house a permanent venue for cultural events to enhance Baiso and the Apennines.
