On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of its foundation, the community is invited to participate in a special event entitled ‘Dellapina and the Collecchiese Choir: a story that continues‘.
The initiative, sponsored by the Municipality of Collecchio and carried out with the economic contribution of the Aerco association, is designed to celebrate the deep bond between Collecchio and its historic choir, in memory of the artistic and human legacy of Maestro Mario Dellapina.
The appointment, which anticipates the celebratory concert scheduled for the following Friday, is set for Saturday 17 October at 4.30 pm in the spaces of Villa Soragna in Collecchio.
The afternoon will be divided into a rich program of testimonies: the meeting will be opened by the historian Ubaldo Delsante with the report ‘Dear Maestro…‘, a speech that will allow us to reconstruct the figure of Mario Dellapina through the words and letters written directly by the choristers of Collecchio.
Afterwards, the current President of the choir Sergio Picollo will offer the public an exciting dive into the past with the speech dedicated to ‘Memories of Canto… A concert to remember ’.
To close this intense moment of sharing, Mayor Maristella Galli will intervene who, with her contribution ‘A treasure for all‘, will illustrate the precious legacy donated by Dellapina to the municipal library.
