Wednesday 11 January, 9 pm at the Teatro Magnani in Fidenza in the name of legend: Arturo Cirillo will present his interpretation of Cyrano De Bergerac, respectively on 10 January and 11 January, proving how much the timeless nineteenth-century comedy by Edmond Rostand lends itself to re-inventions even today.
An impossible and therefore unsuccessful love story is that of Rostand, Cirillo adapts the text and stages it accentuating the poetic and visionary side of the protagonist, not just a man of the sword and a hero of rhetoric. A new way to tell the famous and sad love story between Cyrano, Rossana and Cristiano through not only words, but also music specially composed for the show by Federico Odling.
Adaptation and direction Arturo Cirillo, with Arturo Cirillo, Rosario Giglio, Francesco Petruzzelli, Valentina Picello, Giulia Trippetta, Giacomo Vigentini, sets Dario Gessati, costumes Gianluca Falaschi, lighting Paolo Manti, original music and reworkings Federico Odling, costume designer Nika Campisi, assistant director Mario Scandale, stage assistant Eleonora Ticca placeholder image
