Bike ride along the Art Trail
A fun bike ride along the Sentiero d’Arte, among the vineyards and hills of Parma, at the foot of the Castle of Torrechiara, with wonderful views of the Val Parma.
From Torrechiara we will take the Sentiero d’Arte, crossing the vineyards of the Losoretti farm, surrounded by the hills of Parma, a territory renowned for food and wine. We will cycle next to the ancient Canale San Michele, built in the fifteenth century by Count Pier Maria Rossi to bring water to the Castle of Torrechiara and still used to allow irrigation of cultivated fields. The view will be immediately kidnapped by the extraordinary Castle of Torrechiara.

Meeting point: Sunday 17 September 2023 at 10.00 am at the Parking in Strada del Mulino, Torrechiara (Langhirano PR). End of excursion: about 12.30 pm
Equipment required: layered clothing, comfortable long (or short) trousers, closed shoes, windproof jacket, glasses, gloves, helmet mandatory, personal supply of water (at least 1 liter each). Bring a towel to sit on the ground. MTB type bicycle. For those who use their own bicycle it will be necessary to have a spare inner tube of the right size and be equipped with a padlock. The brakes, front and rear, must be functional and not worn; The knobby tires and in good condition, inflated at the right pressure. The chain must be oiled and not rusted. On the way back possibility to stop for a picnic in the meadows along the path (ask the Guide for info)
