The Palazzo del Podestà in Castell’Arquato opens its doors for the winter period with an exhibition dedicated to the territory

Custodians of memory. The churches of the Piacenza Apennines between oblivion and identity

from 7 February to 7 April 2026 in Piazza del Municipio, Castell’Arquato

The exhibition represents a unique opportunity to explore the sacred heritage of the Piacenza valleys, through which history, art, faith and community are intertwined.
Created with the support of the Diocese of Piacenza-Bobbio and the Foundation of Piacenza and Vigevano, the exhibition is the result of a synergy between various local institutions, including the Cineclub Piacenza G. Cattivelli and the Italian Alpine Club (CAI) of Piacenza. Manuel Ferrari and Susanna Pighi, both of the Office for Ecclesiastical Cultural Heritage of the Diocese, took care of this visual journey, who were able to combine historical-artistic expertise and cultural sensitivity.
