Carpaneto Piacentino at the foot of the Nure and Chero valleys it hosts every year a festival dedicated to one of the three PDO cured meats of Piacenza, the Coppa.
Cup Festival
from Friday 5 to Monday 8 September 2025 in Carpaneto Piacentino
Coppa is made from the back of the pig’s neck. Each animal allows the production of 2 cups. The specification provides that only meat from pigs born, raised, fed and slaughtered in the neighboring territories is processed and the seasoning must also take place in the Piacenza area.
During the festival, food stands, market, entertainment for children and live music enliven the streets and squares of the center of Carpaneto.
