After years of waiting, the Consortium of Chestnut Growers of the Reggio Apennines is organizing a course for chestnut-growing operators, as per its tradition, suitable for enthusiasts who intend to start this activity and for experts.
The course will take place over two days: Saturday 25 March starting at 2 pm, with a theoretical part held in the classroom (at the Albergo Ristorante Marola in Carpineti) and Sunday 26 March from 9 am, with a practical part in the chestnut grove, in Leguigno of Casina.
Furthermore, on Saturday at 20.45, at the Albergo Ristorante Marola, a meeting (round table) will be held with the presence of industry experts who will talk about the value of biodiversity and the environmental quality of this ancient agricultural practice, as well as the progress regional chestnut table and the opportunities offered by environmental sustainability credits.
