On April 30, 2023 in Vernasca in Piazza Vittoria, the CantaMaggio returns, the most anticipated event of the year for entire generations, unmissable and open to all – as long as you sing! – organized by the Proloco of Vernasca. As tradition dictates, you will go from house to house singing the songs and ancient stornelli of peasant culture, receiving in exchange eggs, bread and genuine products of the earth.
PROGRAM
From 7 pm the choir of the maggianti gives us an appointment in the village square of Vernasca with the opening of the food stands to start an evening made of songs and joy to greet the coming May and with it the summer.
At 9 pm the tour of the village begins, which will continue at 11 pm with the tour of the hamlets.
