The Municipality of Bardi is preparing to celebrate the Liberation Day with a day full of events that combine the value of historical memory with cultural and tourist proposals.
The institutional celebrations will kick off on April 25 at 10:00 am with the meeting in front of the Town Hall. This will be followed by the laying of a bouquet of flowers at the memorial stone under the portico of Palazzo Maria Luigia and the procession to the War Memorial in Piazza Vittoria, where the deposition of the wreath will be held. A solemn and participatory moment, open to all citizens.
In the afternoon, at 16:00 in the conference room of Palazzo Maria Luigia, there will be a screening of the documentary “Pasta nera” by Alessandro Piva, which tells the story of the children of the South welcomed by families in the Centre-North after the Second World War: an intense testimony that enriches the meaning of the anniversary.
Alongside the commemorative initiatives, April 25 in Bardi will also be an opportunity to experience the area with evocative experiences: special events such as “The Magical World of Harry” and the night tour with the Ghost Hunters are scheduled at the Castle, for a day capable of combining history, emotion and discovery.
An important anniversary that in Bardi becomes a moment of sharing between memory, culture and enhancement of the territory.
