Author’s Saturdays, authors in the library in Felino

After the success of the first two editions, the “Cesare Pavese” Municipal Library of Felino is pleased to announce the return of “Author’s Saturdays: Authors in the library”, the review promoted by the Municipality of Felino in collaboration with Coop CIDAS.

Four appointments with free admission, three Saturday mornings and a special closing evening, to meet writers from our territory up close, discover their works, dialogue and share their passion for reading. A unique opportunity to enhance local creativity and create moments of cultural confrontation open to all.

It starts on Saturday 28 March at 11 am with the young author Alice Stefanini.

Saturday 28 March, 11 am – Felino Library

Alice Stefanini

Born in Borgotaro in 1993 and resident in San Michele Tiorre, Alice has been passionate about writing, painting and theater since she was a child. After eighteen years of work, he publishes his saga The Academy: four compelling romance novels full of love, adventure and teachings for young teenagers. His motto and that of his books is to believe in one’s dreams and do everything possible to make them come true. Dialogue with Sara Stefanini.

Saturday 11 April, 11 am – Felino Library

Giorgio Montanari

Parmigiano, but for years linked to Felino, presents Secondo Potere, the brand new novel, poised between friendship, play and politics. In the past he has published poems, illustrated for children, and the first novel Grand Hotel dei Ricordi. On the internet it is: giorgiomontanari.it

Saturday 9 May, 11 am – Felino Library

Barbara Spotti

Graduated in Modern Literature at the University of Bologna, Barbara has been teaching Italian language and literature for over thirty years in high school. For six years he has been a teacher at the High School of Applied Sciences of the Berenini Institute in Fidenza. He signs four detective novels set between Parma and the province, with the young investigative team led by Commissioner Deniz Baldi. Dialogue with Cristina Lamio.

Thursday 14 May, 9 pm – Sala Civica “Amoretti”

Tiziana Barbieri

Teacher of Italian and Latin Literature at the Marconi Scientific High School in Parma, she is the author of reports and literary articles (Gazzetta di Parma, Griseldaonline) and conducts creative writing workshops. In 2006 he published “Route 66, l’America infinita”. He presents the novel “The Last Surprise”, which has as its protagonists Ulysses and Achilles, both survivors of the Trojan War, grappling with the return to “real life” after ten years spent in the hidden belly of the world.
