Slow down, listen to nature, rediscover stories and memories along one of the most fascinating waterways in the Parma area.
In the heart of a landscape that preserves ancient memories and challenges to the future, ‘Along the river’ returns, the festival that celebrates nature, spirituality and culture through the territories that extend along the Taro river and the Baganza stream. The Municipalities of Collecchio, Sala Baganza, Medesano, Fornovo di Taro and the Parks Authority of the Duchy join forces for an event developed over five days that combines walks, culture and in-depth meetings with prominent personalities of national level.
From 16 to 20 June 2026, the second edition of the festival offers two daily appointments to promote a rediscovered harmony between nature and personal spirituality, then opening up to opportunities for important reflections on the most universal themes of current affairs.
All the afternoon appointments will be guided by experts, from the walk along the Francigena to the health walk along the Rio Fabbro geosite, up to visits to the parish churches of Fornovo, Talignano and Collecchio. An invitation that will be repeated every day towards the end of the afternoon, when you can choose to slow down, listen to the voices of history and let yourself be guided by beauty. And the evenings of the same days will be enlivened by special meetings full of ideas on today’s society and on the rights of peoples in the broadest sense of the term
